Toronto Takes Spot in Top 10 Wealthiest Cities (Globally)

Toronto took the 9th spot, and was the only Canadian city to make the list of top 40 wealthiest cities, according to Knight Frank and Citi’s annual wealth report for 2011.

 The Knight Frank Global Cities Survey has become a well-regarded monitor of city-level power shifts since it was created in 2008. They have created this annual wealth report based on cities economic activity, political power, quality of life, as well as knowledge and influence.

Overall Top 10 Cities for 2011 Include:
1. New York
2. London
3. Paris
4. Tokyo
5. Brussels
6. Los Angeles
7. Singapore
8. Beijing
9. Toronto
10. Berlin
